AFFF gives $6,815 to USO Fort Stewart for recreation equipment

FORT STEWART, Ga. – The Armed Forces Families Foundation provided $6,815 to the USO at Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield for recreation equipment to help enhance morale with servicemembers, veterans and their families.

With the donated funds, the USO purchased yard games, yard pong, corn hole boards, utility carts, karaoke equipment, Xbox and PS4 games, picnic tables and signage at the new USO center at Fort Steward/ HAAS. The new space features pavilions, volleyball courts, corn hole boards, horse shoes, BBQ pits, and serves as an area where service members, veterans and their families can host many types of outdoor events.
