AFFF provides $25,807 to renovate the infant, toddler care center at U.S. Army Garrison in Miami
MIAMI – The Armed Forces Families Foundation provided $25,807.52 to make necessary upgrades and renovations to the infant and toddler care center at the Army Garrison in Miami in August.
The infant and toddler care center is located at the Parent Central Area of the Child Development Center at the Army Garrison in Miami.
From the donation, the center was able to procure a nursery gym and toddler kitchen, along with toys, furniture and tables, which can be used by children. Additionally, they received a variety of new items for infant and toddler education.
The Parent Central Area consists of four education rooms, a play area and a waiting room for the parents. Funding also provided for new computers, electronics and furniture.
The USAG Miami Child Development Center provides care for children 6-weeks-old to 5-years-old.
The Armed Forces Families Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which provides funding for permanent and semi-permanent infrastructure projects, which support military families.
