USO Eglin Air Force Base receives $83k donation from AFFF

Fort Walton Beach, Fla. (January 10, 2023) – The USO Eglin Air Force Base opened a new arcade area through an $83,276 donation from The Armed Forces Families Foundation.

Eglin Air Force Base supports over 70,000 personnel, including active-duty military, civilians, contractors, dependents and retirees. With its large military population, the base needed additional recreational space for personnel and their families to meet, connect, and relax.

The addition of an arcade area at USO Eglin AFB enriches the overall experience for those stationed on or visiting the base.  Gaming offers a unique way to meet the USO’s mission of connecting service members with their families, and is a preferred way for today’s military and their families to bond.  The area also provides our armed forces personnel with an alternate way to unwind and entertain themselves while on-base.
