USO Center of Northwest Florida Airport Renovation

Pensacola, Florida – June 11, 2013

The Armed Forces Families Foundation funded a $5,745 project at the Northwest Florida Regional Airport USO Center. The Center was provided with new furniture and bookcases, as well as a new 50″ flat-screen television for guests to use while relaxing and playing video games, and a popcorn machine to use in their kitchen area for snacks. The Northwest Florida USO Center serves an average of 2,500 troops and their families on a monthly basis. Due to the high amount of traffic, the center has a great deal of wear and tear, which made the renovation a welcome improvement to the facility. This project was completed on June 11, 2013.
